Tomorrow, on Friday the 19th of June, there are almost five Telugu films hitting cinemas. Among them, there are comeback hero Vadde Naveen’s Transfer Trimurthulu, young hero Harshit’s Deewana and other movies. However, the arrival of Samantha’s Maa Inti Bangaram into this lot is getting a lot of buzz. As the senior starlet is checking her luck as a solo lead again, she’s making sure to promote it big time.

Apart from giving a lot of interviews, which is very unlike Samantha, then going to Chennai and meeting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, then going to Tirupati for quick darshan with the team, surely Samantha managed to bring attention for the team. And now, the word is being spread that Samantha invested around ₹30 crores on “Maa Inti Bangaram” and already she has recovered that money from the sale of OTT and Digital rights. However, this news might sound positive, but that won’t help the film get big openings. These are old school techniques to raise curiosity over a movie, but such things are not working out in recent times.

Currently bookings are good for this Samantha starrer in A-centres, like in Hyderabad’s premium multiplexes. However, the film needs to penetrate more into B&C centres. Today evening will decide how much penetration has happened due to marketing, and tomorrow morning, based on the talk, the film will get the openings. If the content crafted by Sam’s husband, Raj Nidimoru and director Nandini Reddy clicks, then it's going to be awesome for the movie.
