'Maama Mascheendra' Trailer: Intriguing Yet Entertaining!

Handsome hero Sudheer Babu is known for picking up unique stories. Despite the failures, he doesn't stop experimenting and he arrives with another interesting movie titled 'Maama Mascheendra'. The teaser came out in May and revealed that Sudheer is going to play the roles of Durga- an obese man, Parasuram- an old don, and DJ- a youngster who can jam anyone's heart with his rhythm. After releasing a couple of posters, the makers have officially released the theatrical trailer which gives us an idea of what the movie is about.


Sudheer plays the role of a powerful old man whose daughters Eesha Rebba and Mirnalini Ravi fall in love with two youngsters. Interestingly, they both are brothers who resemble the powerful old man referred to above. It is revealed that the old man is the 'Maama' of both these youngsters and there seems to be a backstory which will explain a lot of things. While the old man thinks that the two youngsters trapped his daughters in order to get revenge on him, he finds out that it is his daughters who made the first move. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

Sudheer rocked the three avatars with ease. It is not easy to essay three roles that are completely different from each other but the actor showed a lot of variation. Both Eesha Rebba and Mirnalini Ravi look beautiful on the screen and the trailer definitely generates a lot of curiosity over the movie. At the same time, it ensures that there is ample entertainment in the movie as well.

Directed by actor-filmmaker Harshavardhan, this interesting film is produced by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao on 'Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP'. Chaitan Bharadwaj is the music composer for this project while PG Vinda is the director of photography. Rajeev is the art director. The movie is hitting the screens on 6th October and we need to see how it fares at the box office.
