Mad Square Success: Mad Square Celebrations

As we had reportedly earlier, the better performing Telugu film of the last weekend is Mad Square and the film reported pretty good returns at the box office. The makers and the unit associated with the film have now started to celebrate the success of the film.

The MAD Square team gathered for a Blockbuster Success Press Meet, celebrating the film’s sensational opening and overwhelming audience response.

The press meet was a lively affair, filled with laughter and gratitude. Lead actors Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shoban, Ram Nithin, and Priyanka Jawalkar joined director Kalyan Shankar, cinematographer Shamdat, and the producers in expressing their excitement. “We poured our hearts into MAD Square, and watching audiences embrace it with such enthusiasm is beyond our wildest dreams,” said Narne Nithin.

With record-breaking opening-day collections for a youth comedy in Telugu cinema, the film has been a massive crowd-puller. Reports suggest packed theatres and roaring applause across India, while overseas markets like the USA saw impressive pre-sales, crossing $400K even before the premieres.

Director Kalyan Shankar, the mastermind behind the MAD franchise, spoke about raising the stakes for the sequel. “We wanted to go bigger, crazier, and deliver ‘MAD Maxx’ entertainment. The audience’s love shows we’ve hit the mark.”

The film’s humor, powered by the trio’s impeccable comic timing, Vishnu Oi’s Laddu, and a surprise cameo by Sunil, has been widely appreciated. Bheems Ceciroleo’s catchy tracks and Thaman’s powerful background score also received special praise.

With trade analysts predicting a blockbuster weekend ahead, MAD Square is well on its way to becoming the biggest entertainer of 2025.
