Madhavan In Mahabharatam: Wants This Role

‘If at all SS Rajmouli approaches you for Mahabharat, which role would you play?’ is the question posted to R Madhavan. And the actor has an interesting reply.

While promoting his latest film “GD Naidu”, which is being released in Telugu as “GDN”, the actor is sharing his thoughts about various other films and roles he wants to talk about.

And when quizzed about the Mahabharata, many generally think that he will choose some Arjuna or Krishna, but Madhavan chose a negative role.

“One of the most fascinating characters in Mahabharat is none other than Dhuryodhan. He’s caught between the devil and the deep blue sea”, so I want to play that role.

He further added: “Is Dhuryodhan a bad guy? Is he caught between fate and duty? He actually is brought down with cunning tactics in the end, but not with real bravery. So what is Dhuryodhan for real if we look at Mahabharat from his angle?” asks Madhavan, as he expresses lots of interest and admiration to play that role.

Well, while Madhavan is ready, we have to see who will make Mahabharat down the lane and who will rope this talented actor for the same and in which role.
