'MAD' To Become Another Money-Spinner For Sitara Banner?
While working with big stars makes them be in the safe zone quite easily, taking a slight risk with medium range films will result in heavy profits for them.
It looks like Sitara Entertainments banner is benefitting more from medium-range films rather than movies with stars like Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan. While working with big stars makes them be in the safe zone quite easily, taking a slight risk with medium range films will result in heavy profits for them. Movies like 'Jersey' brought them a lot of fame and good reputation while 'DJ Tillu' and 'Tillu Square' are bringing them huge collections. Since Siddu's film is earning more than expected, the exhibitors and distributors are very happy.
In the same manner, Sitara banner released 'MAD' last October in association with Fortune Four Cinemas. While it was his sister's name on the posters, it is Naga Vamsi who looked after everything. Now, 'MAD Max' is arriving as a sequel to the first part. Kalyan Shankar who made the super hit first part is directing the second part as well. The script has been reportedly finalised and it is going to be the story of three students who completed engineering in the first part and their struggles in the outer world.
It is quite entertaining as per reports and sources say that the banner has another winner in their hands. After reaching a point, Siddu Jonnalagadda and Mallik Ram struggled to take 'Tillu Square' forward and it is director Kalyan Shankar who reportedly helped them with a few episodes and dialogues. Such a director is coming up with his own movie now and it is expected to be even more entertaining than the first part. The team is planning to keep the same cast and there will be a lot of thrills and comedy in the second part too. The regular shoot is expected to start next month.
