Had 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' been released on 15th August, it would have had not much of competition and the collections would have been phenomenal. But changing the release date to December 6th is proving to be costly for the movie's unit. 'Game Changer' is expected to be released in December as well. Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhava' is arriving on 6th December which may affect the collections of 'Pushpa 2'.

Though 'Pushpa 2' has a lot of craze and hype, 'Chhava' is a film that showcases Maharashtrian pride. It is the story of their rule Shambaji who is the son of Chatrapathi Shivaji. Maharashtrians feel so passionate about their history and if two films release at the same time, the first vote will go to 'Chhava'. The Maharashtra market is key to 'Pushpa 2' success as it is where the majority of collections for the first film arrived.

Allu Arjun spoke in Marathi in the Hindi version and it is going to be a huge risk competing with 'Chhava'. Also, 'Pushpa 2' needs to earn big as the pre-release business in North India was quite huge. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.

Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine in 'Chhaava' while Akshaye Khanna is playing a major role too. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, this movie is directed by Laxman Utekar who made movies like 'Luka Chuppi', 'Mimi' and 'Zara Hatka Zara Bachke' before. Rishi Virmani is the writer and Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman is giving the music. There are massive expectations on this film.
