AAA is done; now AMB going there!
Just as Allu Arjun expanded his co-owned multiplex to Vizag, even Mahesh Babu is doing the same.
Many Telugu stars like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Raviteja and even Vijay Devarakonda have ventured into film exhibition, as they built theatres in partnership with the popular Asian Group. While Allu Arjun owns the exclusive Allu Cinemas as well, he also co-owns the AAA with Asian Group, which has come in the erstwhile Satyam Theatre of Hyderabad, and has now opened another AAA at Inorbit Mall, Visakhapatnam. Here goes the next move of Telugu stars.
Just as Allu Arjun expanded his co-owned multiplex to Vizag, even Mahesh Babu is doing the same. They are said to be looking at some interesting malls in areas like Rushikonda and Siripuram and other prominent places, such that the Vizag edition of AMB will be launched. After the first launch of AMB in Hyderabad, recently the star opened the Bengaluru version too. Looks like Telugu heroes want their names to be imprinted in all the places where there are huge patrons for Telugu movies.
On the other hand, some Telugu stars are also looking to build individual cinema halls like Allu Cinemas, as that expands their brand further. Though it takes a lot of money to build independent theatres like that, some stars are showing a lot of interest in the same. Though theatres are not profitable ventures these days, some stars are thinking that owning something like Allu Cinemas will enhance their brand value and gives a greater positive public perception.
