The love story of Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar is one of the most beautiful and inspiring stories in South Indian cinema. It did not start with big drama or publicity. Instead, it began in a very simple way and slowly grew into a strong and lasting relationship.

Mahesh Babu was at the early stage of his film career, while Namrata was already well known after winning the Miss India title and acting in Hindi films.
