Should Mahesh Babu work with some other Director?

It has been nearly 8 months since the start of the shooting for this Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli Project, but the point of concern here is that only two schedules have been completed till now. The recent schedule that was planned in Kenya got cancelled at the last minute due to prevailing situation, and there has been no update on the upcoming schedule.

The primary point that must be noted here is that Mahesh has been occupied with this project for the last year or so, but there is very little progress when it comes to the shooting.

This has no lead to a discussion about the prospect of Mahesh Babu, working with some other director in the meanwhile, and complete a quick project before the time Rajamouli turns available.

There are also speculations about Mahesh Babu, potentially collaborating with director, Anil Ravipudi for a film in the meanwhile. This would potentially instate a project that could be completed rather quickly, and also provide Mahesh with some breathing space.

Earlier or something like this happened with Prabhas, where Rajamouli allowed him to work on Mirchi before starting Baahubali. It has to be seen if Mahesh would be orchestrating another similar project in this context now.

But there are several if and buts associated with this prospect. Right at the very beginning, Rajamouli must allow something like this to happen. And then Mahesh himself must be prepared to do something like this. So we have to see how things will plan out now.
