Mahesh-Rajamouli Project: 1000 Cr, Hollywood Studio, And More

As reported earlier, Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film is set to be officially launched at Rajamouli’s office near aluminium factory in Hyderabad. Ahead of the lunch, we are hearing a few interesting tweets about the film and here is looking into the same.

As per the latest developments, there are reports that over ₹1000 crore will be spent on the overall production of this film. This tally includes the remuneration of both Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli.

However, unlike the usual model of upfront remuneration, both Mahesh and Rajamouli are doing something out of the ordinary this time. Instead of going for straight up remuneration, Mahesh and Rajamouli have decided to take a part of the remuneration now, and then take a share in the profits. It is becoming increasingly common for heroes and directors to have a stake in the profits, and this tradition is being continued by Mahesh and Rajamouli now.

A Hollywood studio will be on board for the production and post production activities of this film, and it will ultimately be released in English language globally.

The production values will also be on a level that no other Indian film ever was as Rajamouli has big plans this time. After the tremendous success of RRR globally, the brand image of Rajamouli has grown beyond expectations. So he has decided to go all out with his film with Mahesh Babu, which will have a global canvas.
