It is already known that superstar, Mahesh Babu is currently working with iconic film maker Rajamouli for his ongoing project, which has been tentatively titled SSMB 29. This project is currently in the shooting stage now, and an upcoming update will be out soon.
In the meanwhile, the latest developments are suggesting that not one, but three directors are preparing for Mahesh Babu, as they wish to collaborate with him.
Reportedly the likes of Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Nag Ashwin and Buchi Babu are reportedly preparing scripts for Mahesh Babu, and they are in different stages of conceptualisation and materialisation for now.
The hard here is that Mahesh is going to be occupied with the film with Rajamouli for the next couple of years at least. This is in consideration of the fact that Rajamouli wants his heroes to be fully dedicated to his films and not start shooting for any other film until they’re done with the promotional campaign of the Rajamouli directorial.
On that note, it must be towards the mid portion of 2027 before Mahesh Babu term is fully active. So these three directors have more than enough time to conceptualise and prepare a script for Mahesh Babu and potentially impress him.
Considering the fact that Mahesh is currently working on the biggest project in his career, he might actually look to work with either Sandeep Reddy or Ashwin, who have already showed that they can bring the pan India audience to theatres.
