Telugu superstars are some of the biggest crowd pullers across the country. But the desire to expand the horizon and try out new market is still pretty much persistent with the Telugu superstars, and the same is evident if we look at War 2.

NTR wanted to expand his market beyond the Telugu states and gain significant hold in the Hindi belt with this action film that also featured Hrithik Roshan. But the film is turning out to be one of the biggest disasters in recent times, and it is leaving huge losses everywhere.

This is precisely when an old statement from Mahesh Babu has now started to go viral on social media, and here is a look into the same.

During the promotional campaign of Major it was Mahesh Babu, who confidently said Bollywood cannot afford him when he was asked to work on a Bollywood film. The intention behind this statement was that Mahesh Babu had no intention of working in Bollywood as he is very comfortable in Telugu cinema.

This statement from Mahesh is now very reciprocal as it perfectly elevates the kind of situation that NTR is facing.

Incidentally, Mahesh was very clear about the fact that Bollywood does not have the resources to afford or make a film with him, and he was absolutely right about it.

However, NTR was not paying much attention to this transition shift as he wanted to expand his horizon in the Hindi market with War 2. But the Director and production house does not have the resources are the capability to make a film with a Telugu superstar like NTR and that got exposed with this film.

It is high time that other superstars from Telugu cinema learn the logic of the trade and consistently stay away from Hindi cinema, which does not suit the Telugu stars too much.
