Mahesh Makes The Right Choice Again!

No matter how big of a star you are, one needs to understand their limitations. There are some characters that cannot be played by everyone. The directors and writers pen the role in a certain style that only suits a bunch of actors. The upcoming film 'Animal' starring Ranbir Kapoor is one such movie where it looks like the hero character is tailor-made for the 'Barfi' actor. Sandeep's script and the recently released teaser generated a lot of expectations on this movie which is coming out on 1st December.

Interestingly, Sandeep Reddy Vanga narrated this script to superstar Mahesh Babu. But looking at the boldness and violence, Mahesh rejected the script politely. After looking at the teaser, many feel that Mahesh made the right choice as such characters do not suit him at all. When you are a huge star, you have to be very careful. It's not saying that one needs to restrict himself but they should not try something extreme.

As we know, Sukumar took the story of 'Pushpa' for Mahesh Babu first. The project was announced as well but Mahesh realised that such a raw character of a smuggler does not suit him. It was the right choice and the movie fell into the hands of Allu Arjun who went on to win the National Award for his acting in that film. Mahesh's style of mass roles is different. He can ace the slick yet tough roles like what he did in 'Pokiri' and 'Businessman'. He needs to be stylish even in a mass role.

Mahesh even rejected 'Ye Maya Chesave' and 'Ghajini' too. They ended up being blockbusters which might make his fans unhappy but can you Mahesh in Suriya's 'Ghajini' getup? The scripts Mahesh rejected might turn out to be blockbusters but they are all roles that won't suit him. People who are moaning over Mahesh's choice on social media platforms should understand this.
