Mahesh Babu to be the last among star heroes; deets inside

Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently basking in the success of Guntur Kaaram. However, the buzz is even greater for his next project, SSMB 29, directed by the legendary SS Rajamouli.

Having tasted a decent success with Guntur Kaaram, Mahesh Babu is set to collaborate with SS Rajamouli for the prestigious SSMB 29. The film, produced by KL Narayana under the banner of Sri Durga Arts, is expected to start it's shooting soon.

Meanwhile, what interesting about the film is while many Tollywood actors have embraced Pan Indian films, Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu are yet to make their mark. Pawan Kalyan is set to open the Pan Indian market with OG in September, paving the way for Mahesh Babu to enter with SSMB 29, likely releasing in the next two to three years. Considering this, Mahesh will be last hero to make Pan-India debut among star heroes as already his competitors Prabhas, Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun made it.

Excitingly, SSMB 29 is rumored to have a colossal budget of Rs 1000 crores, surpassing even the budget of Prabhas' Baahubali 2. The film, touted as an African Jungle adventure, plans to collaborate with international studios, reaching the remotest corners of the world with its Indian-style storytelling and cutting-edge visuals.

Reports suggest Mahesh Babu might portray a character inspired by Lord Hanuman from Hindu mythology, aligning with SS Rajamouli's penchant for such narratives. The film is rumored to be a two-part franchise spanning four years, although official confirmation is pending.
