Mahesh Talks About His Beedi Scenes In 'Guntur Karam' & Future!
Due to this, he took it to the notice of Trivikram and the team then used Ayurvedic beedis which made a minty taste. He reportedly liked them and stated that they were completely tobacco-free.
Superstar Mahesh Babu arrived this Sankranti season with an entertainer titled 'Guntur Karam'. This movie written and directed by Trivikram has garnered mixed response from the public but the extended holiday season is working in its favour. The collections are quite good despite the poor reviews and many claim that the movie is Mahesh's one-man show and nothing else. The team of 'Guntur Karam' finally released an interview where top anchor Suma interviewed Mahesh & heroine Sreeleela.
During their chat, Mahesh talked about the beedis he smoked during the film's production. He made it clear that he doesn't promote smoking in any way. Apparently, he was given a real beedi at the beginning which made him suffer from migraine. Due to this, he took it to the notice of Trivikram and the team then used Ayurvedic beedis which made a minty taste. He reportedly liked them and stated that they were completely tobacco-free.
Talking about his energetic dance moves in 'Guntur Karam', Mahesh stated that it was decided way early during the initial meetings that the movie should be having two energetic dance numbers. He added, "I'm not sure when I'll have another opportunity to groove to the beats of typical Tollywood masala songs. It might be a few years before I take on a regular commercial Telugu movie again. So, we aimed to make the most of this chance."
As we know, Mahesh is getting committed to Rajamouli's project which will take a minimum of three years and the superstar will be in his 50s by then. He may not have the same energy and the star even hinted that he might not do a proper commercial Telugu masala film in the future. It looks like Mahesh is also going to take the pan-Indian route like all the big Tollywood stars.
