DSP’s Yellamma: Much Hyped Malayalam Beauty In Talks

After creating massive buzz with Pushpa 2, Devi Sri Prasad has simple put a comma to his music career and decided to become a hero. He’s now debuting with Dil Raju’s much hyped “Yellamma” which is directed by none other than Balagam fame Venu Yeldandi. The project itself has already generated strong curiosity because of its rooted backdrop, emotional setup, and DSP’s music as well.
However, from some time, the film is suffering from roping in the right heroine for the movie. Earlier there was buzz that the likes of Keerthy Suresh, Sai Pallavi and even Mrunal Thakur were considered for the leading lady’s roles as their high-budget remuneration is not an issue. However, none of the heroines have shown interest in the movie after knowing that DSP is the leading man. But then, DSP is said to be asking only for big starlets, and right now the buck stopped at Malayalam sensation, Premalu movie fame Mamitha Bhaiju.
Over the last couple of years, Telugu filmmakers have increasingly started looking towards Malayalam actresses whenever they want fresh screen presence and natural performances. Mamitha Baiju now seems to be the latest actress entering that highly-demanded zone, but now that she’s teaming up with the likes of Dhanush and Suriya, will she take up the offer is something we have to see.
