To the people who are guessing, we are talking about 'Manamey'. There are decent expectations on this film which is hitting the screens on 7th June. The breezy romantic comedy is creating a good impression with its promotional content. The teaser, trailer and songs were liked by the audience. Everyone prays for the film to succeed but the hero, heroine, director and producer are pinning all their hopes on this flick.

Sharwanand is known for his versatility and knack of picking up good subjects. But his movies in the recent past like 'Padi Padi Leche Manasu', 'Ranarangam', 'Jaanu', 'Sreekaaram', 'Maha Samudram', 'Aadallu Meeku Joharlu' and others have failed to impress the audience. His 'Oke Oka Jeevitham' got a decent talk but did not have the required commercial success. He needs 'Manamey' to succeed at the box office. He is catering to the youth and urban audience this time. Let us see what happens.

After her debut with 'Uppena', Krithi Shetty signed a lot of films. Barring 'Bangarraju' and 'Shyam Singha Roy', her films with crazy heroes like Ram, Nithiin, Naga Chaitanya and Sudheer Babu backfired. She had to take a long gap before arriving with 'Manamey'. She needs this film to succeed in order to revive her career in Tollywood.

Sriram Adittya is a talented director who shows flashes of brilliance through his movies. But his movies don't get huge box-office results. It is an industry that runs on money and any director will be judged on the money he makes through his films. Films like 'Bhale Manchi Roju', 'Shamanthakamani', 'Devadas' and 'Hero' were decent films but they did not make huge money. 'Manamey' needs to be a commercial hit for Sriram Adittya to take it to the next level.

TG Vishwa Prasad too needs a hit as his 'Bro', 'Ramabanam', 'Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi', 'Takkar' and 'Eagle' did not do great business compared to the budgets they were made on. Let us see of 'Manamey' turns out.
