Manchu Lakshmi Shocks Fans With Sharp Warning To Rakul Preet

Manchu Lakshmi and Rakul Preet Singh go way back. Their friendship started when Rakul was new in Tollywood around Venkatadri Express in 2013. Hyderabad shoots, food hangouts, birthday parties, they were everywhere together. They even teamed up on Lakshmi’s food show Aha Bhojanambu. For years, fans saw them as inseparable. But things changed after Rakul got married to Bollywood producer Jackky Bhagnani. Suddenly, the two weren’t popping up together like before.

Lakshmi recently talked about this on the podcast Male Feminist. She said she and Rakul were super close, holidays, weekend hangouts, small parties. But now, Rakul’s married life has changed things. Even tiny invites or questions need a “Let me ask Jackie first” check. Lakshmi laughed but also gave a playful warning: “I’ll wait a year. If nothing changes, I won’t stay quiet. I’ll punish her, seriously, a warning’s coming.” Fans immediately went viral over her cheeky comment.

Workwise, Rakul is doing well. She starred in De De Pyaar De 2, which collected Rs 43.2 crore in India in just four days. Worldwide, it crossed Rs 63.4 crore. The film, with Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan, is holding up nicely at the box office.

Lakshmi, meanwhile, was last seen in Daksha: The Deadly Conspiracy with Mohan Babu. The film flopped in theatres but is now streaming on Amazon Prime. She’s staying in Mumbai, trying her luck and exploring new projects.
