For a long time, now, the Indian film industry has been debating about the topic of nepotism and the kind of effects that it has on the talent pool in the industry. This question was brought up in front of Manchu Vishnu by a national media outlet, and he had a strong reaction to the same.

In his interaction with the media house, Vishnu stated that it is a fact that can’t be denied that nepotism has been existing in the industry. However, he had a peculiar take on the model of nepotism and the way it operates.

“ It can’t be denied that nepotism is a part and parcel of the industry. But all that nepotism can do to an actor is land him or her, their first project. Nepotism can give you only one launch film. Like in my case, I could get my first film offer because my father was a legendary actor and producer. But after my first film, the audience continued to encourage me only after liking my talent.” Manchu Vishnu said.

The Manchu family Hero stated that nepotism will only work for one film, and the rest will have to be sorted out by the actor, as only get talent gets recognised in the industry and nurtured by the audience. He did have a strong point to make about the nepotism topic and meticulously explained the series of events surrounding the same.

Meanwhile, Vishnu is now actively promoting his upcoming film Kannappa, which is up for release on April 25. This is the costliest film in his filmography, and he is clearly invested in the same.
