Sometimes, the most unexpected friendships blossom in the bustling film industry. Such is the case with Manchu Lakshmi and Ram Charan. Known for her candour on social media, Lakshmi recently shed light on a secret she'd kept close to her heart – her time residing at Charan's Mumbai residence.
The revelation came during an interview where Lakshmi described the initial challenges she faced upon moving to Mumbai. Despite encouragement from industry friends like Rana Daggubati and Rakul Preet Singh, securing an apartment proved difficult. This led to an extended stay at Charan's place, a secret Lakshmi meticulously guarded.
"I didn't want rumors to spread," she admitted. "People would assume I was there for work-related reasons. Even Charan didn't want anyone to know, but I guess my secret's out now!" The actress went on to praise Charan's hospitality, describing him as a friend who readily offered his home without hesitation. "He told me to stay as long as I needed," she said. "He truly doesn't remember how long I was there!"
Lakshmi's revelation offers a glimpse into the genuine camaraderie that exists within the Telugu film fraternity. It also showcases the unwavering support friends offer one another, even when it comes to something as basic as a roof over one's head.
