After Prabhas, Maruthi Trying To Direct Megastar!

Maruti has been trying to do a movie with Megastar Chiranjeevi for a very long time. There was news that they will be working together a few years back but it did not go on floors. Chiru has not announced his next movie after 'Vishwambhara'. The movie's shooting is expected to be wrapped up in July or August and it will be hitting the screens on 10th January 2025.

There is a gossip that Harish Shankar might be the next director to work with Chiranjeevi. Sources say that Chiru had a meeting with Maruthi too on the sets of 'Viswambhara'. With this, the rumors about Chiranjeevi and Maruthi film are going viral now. There are reports that it is going to be Chiru's next project after 'Vishwambhara'.

But insiders say that they had a formal meeting out of courtesy and nothing more. Apparently, there were no discussions about a movie. Maruthi is very busy right now with the work of 'Raja Saab'. Even if Chiru okays his script, he may not take it on floors till next year. He is eager to work with other big heroes like Charan and Bunny. But doing a film with Chiranjeevi is a dream for many directors and Maruthi is looking to fulfill it soon if not now.
