The Raja Saab Setback: Is Maruthi Returning to His Old Formula?

Director Maruthi now faces a big challenge in his career. He once made hit films with small budgets. His comedy and simple stories attracted Telugu audiences. He earned a good name with these films. But his recent failures have raised questions about his future.

Maruthi once showed that he could make successful films without huge budgets. He worked with different heroes and entertained audiences with simple stories. But his recent films failed to bring the expected results. These failures have created doubts about his next move.

The Raja Saab starring Prabhas became a major setback for Maruthi. The film created huge expectations because of Prabhas's popularity. Fans expected an exciting entertainer from this combination. But the film failed to meet their expectations. Many fans expressed their disappointment and criticised the director.

The film also affected Maruthi's image in the industry. Prabhas fans continue to express their anger over the film. The director now needs a strong hit to silence his critics and regain the trust of audiences.

This situation raises an important question. Who will dare to work with Maruthi now. Established heroes and producers often consider a director's recent success before accepting a project. The failure of a big-budget film like The Raja Saab may make it harder for Maruthi to convince star heroes.

But Maruthi has not given up. He has reportedly completed the script for his next film. He plans to begin shooting in November. The director has approached several young heroes, but he has not received confirmation from any established actor.

Maruthi now plans to introduce fresh faces through his next project. He wants to complete the shoot in quick schedules and release the film in summer 2027. A smaller budget may help him manage the project more carefully.

So instead of going back of start heores, Maruthi looks like trying his old school formula to prove himself again.
