It is already on that talented Director Marathi is closely anticipating the release of his upcoming film Raja Saab, which has Prabhas in the lead role and preparing for release on January 9 ahead of Sankranti season.
At the promotional event of the film that was held in Hyderabad, Maruti made an interesting comment, which coincidentally triggered NTR’s fans.
While addressing fans at this promotional event of Raja Sahib, Director Maruti stated that he will not pass comments like “raising the collar” as such statements would not suffice a cutout like Prabhas.
While this scholar statement might not look too much on the upper surface, it had an implicated meaning which was picked up by NTR fans. It must be noted that NTR faced a lot of criticism after he commented that “War 2” would be a film that would make his fans raise their collars. After the disaster performance of this film, this collar comment of NTR caught the attention and now, when Maruthi made vaguely coincidental comment, NTR fans fumed on him.
In his reaction to this matter, Maruti clarified on the issue and stated that it was never his intention to hurt or belittle Tarak’s fans in any which way.
“Felt like clarifying this personally. First I sincerely apologise to every fan. It was never my intention to hurt or disrespect anyone. Sometimes in the flow of words things come out differently from what we truly mean and I regret that it was received in the wrong way or as a comparison.
I have immense respect for NTR garu and for all his fans. I truly value the love you carry for cinema and for your hero. I wanted to clarify this with complete honesty and from the heart…
and I hope you understand the situation and the intention behind it.” Maruti wrote.
