Three Mega heroes. Three massive films. More than ₹900 crore gross combined. And that’s what the industry is talking about right now. The winning streak began with Pawan Kalyan’s #OG, which hit screens on September 25 last year, and stormed past the ₹300 crore mark. The momentum continued during the Sankranthi season, when Chiranjeevi arrived with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. That Anil Ravipudi directorial also comfortably entered the ₹300 crore club and emerged as one of the biggest successes of the festive season. Now, Ram Charan has taken the baton forward with Peddi. The rural action drama has turned into a sensational box-office success, collecting over ₹315 crore within just five days of release.

In an era where even star-driven films are struggling to create long theatrical runs, three Mega heroes have delivered three consecutive ₹300 crore-plus grossers within a span of nine months and that’s the mega success the industry needs in order to make more films. Truly, the mega camp has many reasons to celebrate now.
