Talk: What Happened With #Mega158 In 3 Days?

Three days ago, there was a huge buzz that Megastar Chiranjeevi wants KVN Productions to drop out of the project as the production house is reeling through lots of issues at the moment. At the same time, it has come out that director KS Bobby is yet to wrap the second half of the film, and that might take another cool two months. But suddenly the look-test happened, and they are going through ‘panchangam’ to lock the muhurat date of the movie. So, what transformed in these three days?

#Mega158 was supposed to start immediately after Sankranthi 2026, and many thought that three days after the release of Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, this film would be launched. Quite surprisingly, the launch hasn’t happened and four months have passed by. Inside talk is that Megastar is keen on changing the second half of the film, and they have roped in some senior writers like Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan to give some ideas for the second half. After going through them all, there is one initial version that was written almost 6 months ago, and Megastar felt that tweaking that version is a good thing rather than changing the whole second half.

In just three days, they made tweaks and decided to go ahead, and in just one day, Megastar decided to do the look test for the movie. Currently, they are thinking about building the sets in a month or so, such that once the weather cools down by the end of May, they will start shooting. Also, the plan is that they want to keep the movie in the Sankranthi race without fail. Well, in the film world, anything can happen in 3 days.
