Stories revolving around marital relationships, husband-wife conflicts, and other domestic drama always bring out songs that sympathise with men. Adding to such a narrative, none other than Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani added a soulful magic with his voice now, for another such men-anthem.
For the upcoming film “Purushaha” that features a newcomer, Pavan Kalyan Battula as a hero, music composer Shravan Bharadwaj has come up with an interesting song. Titled “Jalipadedi Yevvadu”, the song highlights how men suffer in day-to-day life but get no sympathy from anyone. Sung by MM Keeravani, his soulful voice adds magic to the lyrics written by Anantha Sreeram. The song's humour and conversational warmth are worth mentioning.
Directed by newcomer Veeru Vulavala, the film “Purushaha” is a take on modern middle-class relationships, featuring the story of three couples in the lead. With Pavan Kalyan and Vaishnavi Kokkura in the leads, it also has Saptagiri, Kasireddy Rajkumar, Vishika, and Hasini Sudheer in other important roles. Now that Keeravani has sung a song for the movie, it brings attention to this young project.
