Zanai Bhosle clears air on relationship with Mohammed Siraj

A recent picture of Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj with Zanai Bhosle went viral on social media. Zanai is the granddaughter of legendary singer Asha Bhosle. She is also a young singer known for her melodious voice.

The photo was part of Zanai's 23rd birthday celebration, which she shared on Instagram. In one of the pictures, Siraj and Zanai were seen laughing together. Many fans assumed that they were in a relationship.

Zanai quickly dismissed these rumors. She clarified their relationship by calling Siraj "Mere pyaare bhai" (my dear brother) in her Instagram story. Siraj reposted her story and called her "behna" (sister).

Currently, Siraj is not part of the Indian cricket team. He was dropped after a disappointing performance in the Test series against Australia. He was also not selected for the ongoing white-ball series against England and the upcoming Champions Trophy.

Former cricketer Irfan Pathan raised concerns about India’s pace-bowling options for the Champions Trophy. He suggested that Siraj could have been included as a backup. He pointed out the challenges of relying on Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, who are returning from injuries.

Pathan said India needs a reliable backup pacer. He added that playing with four spinners in Dubai conditions is not practical. He expressed hope that the selected players would perform well.
