Superstar Wants To Direct Chiranjeevi: What Next?

It is a common trend and approved practice in Malayalam Cinema for heroes to turn directors. The likes of Prithviraj Sukumaran have done it in the past already, and we have a new addition to the list in the form of Mohanlal. His latest film Barron released in the theaters today.

While promoting the film in Hyderabad, Mohanlal interacted with Telugu media and he was raised very interesting question. He was asked to pick the favourite Telugu hero that he would like direct.

Mohanlal was to reply that he would like to direct megastar Chiranjeevi for one of his upcoming films. The veteran Malayalam hero accredited Chiranjeevi for being one of the most passionate actors in Indian cinema and exploring no tropes even in commercial zone.

Then Mohanlal was asked about his experience working with Junior NTR in Janatha Garage, and he had wise words to say about the Nandamuri Hero.

Mohanlal revealed that he enjoyed every single bit of working with NTR for Janatha Garage and claimed that it was a rewarding experience for him as an actor, and also as a person. He claimed that it was particularly tough to shoot the climax portion of the film, which had a lot of nuances associated with it.
