How Little Hearts Mouli Beat Pawan Kalyan, NTR?

The United States box office is one of the major contributor of revenues for Telugu cinema, and this is the reason why all the Telugu heroes are extensively focusing on gaining a market here.

In this context, something very interesting has happened as talented youngster Mouli who debuted with Little Heart is able to beat both Pawan Kalyan and Junior NTR at the United States box office.

The opening day, gross of this Mouli film Little Hearts is bigger than that of Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu and NTR’s War 2.

This comedy oriented film could collect $ 115K on the opening day in the United States. This is marginally higher than the collections of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which could collect just 114K on the opening day.

Incidentally, this is also higher than the NTR film that was discussed earlier, which could collect only 105K dollars on it opening day.

This is very much the indication of the changing trend in Indian cinema, and also particularly Telugu Cinema where Content is becoming bigger than superstar status. The fact that Hero was able to collect more revenues in the United States, superstars like Pawan Kalyan and NTR is a clear indication of the same.

It has to be seen if this trend would continue further, and more youngsters would be able to beat superstars with their collections, which would pretty much instate the content culture and Tollywood.
