Star producer Dil Raju does not just bankroll films but also distributes them. In fact, he used to be a distributor before entering the production business. Now, he is handling both and he recently explained the difference between hits and genuine hits at a roundtable of producers featuring Mythri Ravi Shankar, Vishwa Prasad, Naga Vamsi and himself.

Dil Raju said, "There are certain categories here. If the producer makes a profit and sells the film to the distributors, we call it a hit. Distributors won't comment if they lose money, keeping in mind future transactions and relations. Here, we are not wholeheartedly saying that the film is a success."

He added, "Consider this aspect. I might lose money on a project and sell it to a distributor. The distributor might have earned a profit. We still call it a successful film, too. Consider Balagam, Mad, and Sankranti releases Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. These films fetched profits for producers and distributors, and ultimately, the audience was also happy. They are genuine superhits." Naga Vamsi stated, "Any film that brings loss to distributors cannot be termed a hit."

As we know, Dil Raju is currently producing a pan-Indian film titled 'Game Changer' with Ram Charan as the lead. Shankar is directing this movie and he is also bankrolling 'Family Star' with Vijay Deverakonda. He is also bankrolling a few other crazy projects.
