There is a lot of talk regarding senior heroes who are in their fifties and sixties romancing young heroines who are in their twenties. Tamannaah is considered a senior heroine these days and she is acting beside Megastar Chiranjeevi in 'Bholaa Shankar'. The same happens for Balakrishna who romanced Shruti Haasan and Honey Rose in 'Veera Simha Reddy'. The age gap between Ashika Rangnath and Nagarjuna was big in 'Naa Saami Ranga' and people are complaining about having young actresses like Meenakshi Choudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh in Venkatesh's next film.

Even the most handsome hero Mahesh Babu faced a bit of criticism for romancing Sreeleela in 'Guntur Karam'. Even 'OG' has Priyanka Arul Mohan as the heroine for Pawan Kalyan. Recently, the team of 'Mr Bachchan' released a promo of the first song in order to kickstart the promotions. We can see Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja having some titillating romantic scenes with debut heroine Bhagyashri Borse. She is looking quite glamorous with appealing skin show in half sarees and Ravi Teja romancing her has not gone down well with a section of the internet.

They are mentioning the age gap between the hero and heroine. He faced the same problem for 'Dhamaka' as well. Not just that but most of Ravi Teja's films have very young heroines like Kavya Thapar, Nabha Natesh, Faria, Megha Akash, Nupur Sanon, Gayatri Bharadwaj and others. There were days back in the 80s when Sridevi acted as a heroine in NTR's films while she played his granddaughter's role as a child artist.

It is what every hero does but Ravi Teja is the only hero who gets trolled constantly. One should understand that there are not many heroines in the 40s and 50s. Actresses like Trisha, Anushka, Nayanthara and a few others who are in their late 30s and early 40s are picking stories selectively and not showing any interest in regular commercial flicks where the heroine doesn't have much to do. It is the young heroines who are game for such roles. While heroes are often criticized for the age gap, it is tough to understand why a heroine in her early 20s takes up the heroine role in an older hero movie and walks away with no criticism.
