Hollywood's MrBeast Meets Ranbir's Ramayana

Popular American YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, made a special appearance at a promotional event for the upcoming Indian film Ramayana. The YouTuber surprised the audience by saying Jai Shri Ram during the event in Mumbai.

The event was held to promote Ramayana: Part One, one of the most ambitious Indian films currently in production. The movie features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Yash as Ravana. Nitesh Tiwari, who directed Dangal, is directing the film.

During the event, an audience member called out, “Jai Shri Ram, MrBeast.” Ranbir Kapoor then helped MrBeast repeat the chant. The American creator happily said, “Jai Shri Ram,” which received a strong response from the audience.

MrBeast also spoke about his experience at the event. He said that it was exciting to see a part of the film and praised what he had seen from the trailer. He described the visuals as impressive.

The event was originally planned to include an interaction between MrBeast and the Ramayana team. However, the programme was delayed by several hours due to logistical issues. Producer Namit Malhotra later apologised for the delay and said that some matters were beyond their control.

Ranbir Kapoor also spoke about the importance of Ramayana and Lord Ram in Indian culture. He explained that Lord Ram is respected as an ideal person because of his commitment to duty and sacrifice.

Ranbir said that Lord Ram gave up many comforts to keep his father's promise and follow his responsibilities. He also explained the meaning of “dharma” as a sense of duty and commitment.

While speaking to MrBeast, Ranbir said he hopes the film will give international audiences an introduction to Indian culture and history.

Producer Namit Malhotra said the film also explores the difference between material wealth and true happiness. He explained that the story shows how a person can have everything but still feel alone.

Actor Ravi Dubey, who plays Lakshman, also expressed his excitement about the film. He said the team hopes international audiences will learn more about India's culture and heritage through the movie.

Ramayana: Part One is scheduled to release during Diwali 2026.
