Mrunal Thakur Gets Surprise Birthday Treat From Adivi Sesh

Mrunal Thakur, who turns 33 on August 1, got an early birthday surprise on the sets of her upcoming film Dacoit. The celebration was planned by the team along with her co-star Adivi Sesh. When Mrunal walked in, she was greeted with a loud “Surprise” from the crew. She cut the cake, fed it to the team, and shared a happy moment with Sesh. A short video of the celebration was shared by Annapurna Studios on X.

In the clip, Mrunal looked happy and relaxed. As the crew sang “Happy Birthday,” she joined in the fun with a little dance. Sharing the video, the team wrote, “A pre-birthday bash for the charming @mrunal0801 planned by team #Dacoit on the sets. A super surprise for the birthday girl. ” The film is set to release in theatres on December 25.

Talking about Dacoit, Adivi Sesh said it’s not a solo-hero film but a story of two strong characters. He said both leads are important to the film, and working with Mrunal has been a good experience. He added that Mrunal doesn’t bring ego to the set, and that makes working with her easy and honest.
