RRR reached big heights in terms of popularity and took the Western audience by storm. Probably for the first time, the Western audience grooved to an Indian song.
The Oscar-winning Naatu Naatu song became a huge hit that even celebrities and sportsmen tried the hook step. Naatu Naatu song fever gripped London this time as hundreds of women gathered together and grooved to the hit number.
National Handloom Day was celebrated in a big way the other day. The celebrations got a Naatu Naatu touch with hundreds of women in London shaking their legs for the song. Women clad in traditional sarees. Women took to the streets of London to celebrate the big day and as part of that they grooved to a few songs.
Though they grooved to a few Indian songs, women grooving to Naatu Naatu on the streets of London became viral and the videos are doing rounds on social media. Women wore sarees from different streets and took part in the celebrations.
As per the media reports, the celebrations were organized by a not-for-profit group called 'British Women in Sarees'. More than 700 Indian-British women took part in this and set the floor on fire with their dance moves. People from various ethnicities wore their traditional sarees.
RRR is a Pan-India film helmed by successful director SS Rajamouli which tells us the fictional story of two Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem played by Ram Charan and NTR respectively. RRR also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.
