Nag Ashwin Reveals His Anger Management Formula

Director Nag Ashwin is one of the most respected filmmakers in Telugu cinema today. He impressed audiences with movies like Yevade Subramanyam, Mahanati, and Kalki 2898 AD. His unique storytelling style and calm nature have earned him appreciation from both fans and industry professionals.

Recently, during the promotions of his production venture Sing Geetham, Nag Ashwin shared how he handles stress and anger while working on film sets. Film shooting is often a very challenging process. Hundreds of people work together, deadlines are tight, and unexpected problems can happen at any time. In such situations, many directors lose their temper and shout at team members. However, Nag Ashwin prefers a different approach.

According to him, yelling at people rarely helps solve a problem. Instead, it can make the situation worse and create more tension among the team. He believes that every person on a film set is working toward the same goal. Since everyone is trying their best, blaming others is not the right solution when things go wrong.

Nag Ashwin admitted that he does get frustrated sometimes, just like anyone else. However, he chooses not to express his anger by shouting at others. Rather than focusing on mistakes made by team members, he tries to understand the reason behind the problem and find a solution.

The director also revealed that many times he becomes upset with himself. He feels frustrated when he notices a problem early but fails to address it at the right moment. Instead of blaming others, he reflects on what he could have done better.

Managing large-scale films such as Mahanati and Kalki 2898 AD comes with enormous pressure. Despite that, Nag Ashwin believes a director must remain calm because the behavior of a leader affects the entire team. If the captain of the ship loses control, it can impact everyone around him.
