Nag Enters The Sets Of 'Coolie' In Vizag!

King Nagarjuna has been showing a lot of interest in playing key roles in other language films recently. He did a strong character in Ranbir's 'Brahmastra' and he will soon be seen playing one of the main leads in Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula's Telugu-Tamil multistarrer 'Kubera'.

Apart from this, he is going to be a part of superstar Rajnikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj's most-awaited movie 'Coolie'. The combination of superstar Rajnikanth and Lokesh itself is generating a lot of hype on this project. The shooting is underway and Lokesh is looking to make this film as big as possible through his casting as well as technical quality.

Sources claim that Nagarjuna has joined the movie unit recently. The shooting is taking place in Vizag and it is going to be a 40-day long schedule where Lokesh will be shooting a lot of key sequences in this pan-Indian project.

Soubin Saahir is a part of the film too and he plays the role of Dayal. Satyaraj will be seen as Rajasekhar while actress Shruti Haasan becomes Preethi in this crazy project. Kannada superstar Upendra is going to play the role of Kaleesha. King Nagarjuna is reportedly going to be seen as a negative character and his name in the film is Simon.

The movie is being bankrolled by Sun Pictures. It has been made clear that 'Coolie' is not a part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer. It is Rajnikanth's 171st film and Girish is the director of photography. Philomin Raj is the editor of the movie which is planned for release in 2025.
