Chay Promises 'Thandel' Release Day Will Be a Festival
Fans had speculated that the film might release during the Sankranti festival.
Today, at a grand press event, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya's upcoming film Thandel took center stage. The event was attended by lead stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, along with director Chandoo Mondeti and producers Allu Aravind and Bunny Vasu.
Fans had speculated that the film might release during the Sankranti festival, a major occasion for Telugu cinema. However, Chaitanya clarified the release date rumors. He said, "Like all of you, I wanted the film to release as soon as possible. I kept asking the producers Allu Aravind garu and Bunny Vasu garu about the release date. But what amazed me was Aravind garu’s response. He said, 'First, show me the film. If it’s engaging, meets my expectations, and promises a good return on investment, only then will I decide on the release date.'"
Chay said 'Thandel is a story about the people of Srikakulam, not just a typical movie. It is our duty to make them proud because they trusted us with their story. The film itself will become a festival, so don't be upset that it won't be released during Sankranti'.
