Ace producer Naga Vamsi wanted to score a hat-trick this year with Epic, after the success of Lenin and Viswanath & Sons; however, that didn’t work. Apart from that, the failure of that film also taught a lot of lessons to the producer too. And that is now making him implement some new measures. Here goes it.

In recent times, Naga Vamsi’s films are either turning into hits, like Lenin and Viswanath & Sons, or disasters like Epic and Funky. There’s no in-between for his movies. Usually, films that run average are safer than making films that sink without a trace. He wants to make sure that his films don’t end up as disasters and become minimum grossers. For that, he wants to hire a new creative team, say, sources.

Well, if one has to make ‘medium’ range movies, medium in terms of success, they have to focus a lot on content. Believing every single story that’s coming from someone who has just delivered a hit film won’t help. Every story is new, and every story should be handled like a first movie only. Then only one would score better hits at the box office.
