Young hero Naga Chaitanya is working on 'Thandel' which is a rural action drama. He will be seen as a fisherman in the movie and he underwent a huge makeover for this role. Sai Pallavi is the heroine while successful director Chandoo Mondeti is making it on a grand scale. In a recent interview, Naga Chaitanya revealed some interesting facts regarding this romantic drama with a touch of patriotism in it.
He said that it is based on the life of a person named Raju who spent nearly two years in Pakistan jail for treading their waters. He added, “I spent nine months preparing for the role. It's such an inspirational story. I want to make sure I get everything right, especially the Srikakulam accent. I went to Raju's house, and his bravery and determination took me by surprise. I spent time with fishermen to understand their struggles. Thandel is the biggest film of my career, and I needed that role.”
Bunny Vas is the film's producer. Shamdat Sainudeen is the cinematographer. Navin Nooli is the editor while Kartheek Theeda is the story writer. Srinagendra Tangala is the art designer. Allu Aravind is presenting the film while Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Naga Chaitanya is one of the most bankable stars.
