NC's Hit Series 'Dhootha' To Get A Second Season!

Akkineni hero Naga Chaitanya's OTT debut 'Dhootha' turned out to be highly successful. The thriller web series directed by '24' and 'Manam' fame Vikram Kumar has impressed the viewers big time. The show which was released on 1st December got a tremendous reception. It is an Amazon Prime Video original series and the gripping narration has gotten a lot of love.

It got a huge number of views and stayed on the Top 10 charts for weeks. It received both critical acclaim as well as the love of the audience. Naga Chaitanya's performance as a corrupt journalist was quite impactful and the strong message given through this series with a touch of supernaturality made it a good watch. The good reception of the audience has reportedly guaranteed a second season.

As per reports, Amazon Prime Video is going to release a lot of updates regarding their upcoming projects. Insiders reveal that the announcement regarding the second season of 'Dhootha' is going to arrive on 19th March. 'Dhootha' is streaming in over 240 countries and territories in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. This original series is produced by Sharrath Marar under the banner of NorthStar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

Naga Chaitanya is in the lead. Apart from him, the series has Prachi Desai, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Sathyapriya Bhavani Shankar and others playing key roles. Naga Chaitanya is currently working on 'Thandel' which is the costliest film in his career. Chandoo Mondeti is the director of this movie while Geetha Arts banner is producing it. Sai Pallavi is the heroine in this film.
