When things get tough, Senior hero Akkineni Nagarjuna steps in. That has almost become a pattern in the Akkineni camp. For Akhil Akkineni’s recent films, be it Most Eligible Bachelor or the disastrous Agent, Nagarjuna was actively involved in the final stages, especially in the edit room. Sometimes it helped, sometimes it didn’t. But one thing is clear, he doesn’t stay away when his son’s film is at stake. Here comes the latest insider buzz on Lenin now.

Reports are now coming up that “Lenin” is completely under Nagarjuna’s control now, as they are chopping up some lag scenes from the film, and Nagarjuna is sitting with the editor to change the pace and graph of the film. Will it work for Akhil at the box office? They are hoping that Nagarjuna’s seniority and judgmental capabilities might help the film. In the wake of Sithara Entertainment’s latest mass-outings like Mass Jathara and other movies heading for a toss, surely Nagarjuna might have felt the need to shape “Lenin” into a tighter, more engaging product.

Despite multiple attempts to conquer the box office, Akhil is still searching for that one solid box office breakthrough. Most Eligible Bachelor gave him some relief, but Agent pushed things back significantly. At this stage, Lenin becomes very crucial for his career. So any changes that are being done to the movie, is with the hope that it clicks big time at the box office.

Directed by newcomer Murali Kishore Abburu, Lenin features Bhagyashree Bhorse as the leading lady. And the spicy flat abdomen treat she offered in the latest released Yetta Yetta song of the film has already set the ball rolling, while Thaman’s tune isn’t that catchy. The film is set for release on June 26, 2026.
