Nagarjuna Puts Dhurandhar Rumours To Rest

Since “Dhurandhar” turned out to be this epic blockbuster at the Bollywood box office, the role played by Akshaye Khanna in the movie has exploded big time. He plays notorious Pakistani rowdy and politician, Rahman Dakait, so convincingly that we can’t imagine anyone else but him in that Karachi-gangster role. However, the name of Nagarjuna Akkineni, heard in this connection, has stunned all.

A rumour started to come out that initially the role was offered to none other than Telugu superstar Nagarjuna. Already by that time, Nagarjuna was doing films like Kubera and Coolie, where he was playing negative shaded and villain roles. The rumour has it that those happenings have made Nagarjuna dismiss the Dhurandhar proposal. Finally, Nagarjuna has reacted to these rumours and given clarity.

Nagarjuna interacted with a Bollywood portal to reveal that he’s not even offered the role of Rahman Dakait in the movie Dhurandhar, which was portrayed by Akshaye Khanna very well. The actor stated that he doesn’t know where the rumours stemmed from, but clarified twice that he’s not even approached by the talented director Aditya Dhar, on whom he showered praises for both Uri and Dhurandhar.
