Nagarjuna gives a heart-warming tribute to ANR

Nagarjuna Akkineni and entire Akkineni family have been working hard to carry forward the legacy of legendary ANR in every aspect. The great actor has established Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, 50 years ago, which became instrumental in Telugu Film Industry shifting completely to Telugu states.

Nagarjuna in a heart-warming video, shared about how ANR and his mother Annapurna, laid foundation stone in 1975 for the studio during Sankranti. He remembered how ANR envisioned this huge studio in a barren and tough terrain of hills, where even roads were not laid.

Senior most staff members of Annapurna Studios talked about how ANR worked tirelessly to establish this big facility and they even remembered about how ANR, Annapurna along with their family members used to eat breakfast with all of them during foundation day for every Sankranti.

Akkineni family keeping the tradition alive served breakfast to all staff members themselves. Nagarjuna proudly called Annapurna Studios staff as warriors and remarked them as extended family members. Recently, he installed India's first ever Dolby Facility for Post-production at the studio and SS Rajamouli has inaugurated it. We can say that Nagarjuna and Akkineni family have been playing key in keeping ANR's legacy alive for future generations, as well.
