Nag & Chay To Clash At Box Office

In the last couple of years, Akkineni Nagarjuna has been expecting the most from two of his ambitious films, which happen to be Sekhar Kammula’s Kubera and Rajnikanth’s Coolie. But both the movies have disappointed big time at the box office, and Nagarjuna has got the shocker of his life. That said, he wants to clear up all of that with his upcoming #King100.

Though there is no single announcement about #King100 so far, it’s coming out that Nagarjuna wants to release the film on Dasara eve, as the Telugu box office is super empty at the moment. Except for Superstar Rajnikanth’s Jailer 2, there is no other film locked for the Dasara holiday season. Due to that, Nagarjuna is now locking #King100, which is directed by Ra Karthik, for a Dasara release. But that also means he will be locking horns with his son’s movie too.

Though the delayed OTT deal has affected Naga Chaitanya’s Vrushakarma big time, now the makers have got a full deal and are racing ahead with the pending production and post-production work. If all goes well, then Vrushakarma would be hitting cinemas on October 15th or 16th only, and that will be a direct competition to Nagarjuna. Will the senior star allow the clash is another question, by the way.

Earlier, it has come out that even Megastar Chiranjeevi’s delayed high-budget fantasy action film Vishwambhara is also hitting cinemas on October 16th. There’s no confirmation of the same to date.
