The promotional content that came out till date got a phenomenal response and the character introduction video of Ashwatthama character played by Amitabh has hyped up the audience.

Nag Ashwin always prefers quality over quantity. As a director, he made just two films but they turned out to be classics like 'Evade Subramanyam' and 'Mahanati'. He is making a visual extravaganza like 'Kalki 2898 AD' and it is a fantasy film that extends over a lengthy time period. While the release date is yet to be announced, the team is seen having a big party on their director's birthday.
