Nag Ashwin is a name that is resonating all across the nation right now. His 'Kalki 2898 AD' made everyone awestruck and it set the cash registers ringing. The movie is inching towards the 1000 crore mark and the collections have been steady even during the working days. His unparalleled vision and stellar making wowed the audience. In a recent interview, he talked about the flaws in 'Kalki 2898 AD'.

The audience complained about the lethargic first half which is a bit boring at times. Also, the inclusion of Disha Patani's character and a song too did not go down well with the viewers. Nag Ashwin acknowledged it and said that the release has been rushed due to VFX work and release in multiple languages.

Talking about Prabhas having less screen time than Amitabh, he said, “I don't think we had those sort of discussions. For a star of his stature, Prabhas has very little issues about things like this. He is fully for the story. Once he listened and okay-ed the story way back in the day, he has been fully onboard and very supportive. Like, I think in retrospect, I feel that it was a big deal for a mainstream actor to get hit by another actor; Living in a world where all these heroes are untouchable. So it was a big deal but he was totally onboard. He wanted to get hit by Amitabh Bachchan. It was awesome. He was like, 'Sir, hold me tighter.'”

Regarding the second part, he said, “The next one is a while off because it's not really shot yet. It's shot for about 20 to 30 days,” the filmmaker said, before adding, “I'd say at best 20 percent (is ready). At best 20 percent because the big stuff is still remaining. We have to get that right.”
