Nag Ashwin Says 60% Of The Story Will Be Said In 'Kalki 2'!

The movie is racing towards the 1000 crore mark and Prabhas fans are very happy about it.

'Kalki 2898 AD' is continuing its dream run at the box office. With no big releases this weekend, this fictional drama set in a dystopian backdrop is going to collect huge. It minted a worldwide gross of 774 crores and it collected 49 scores on its 8th day which is quite huge. The movie is racing towards the 1000 crore mark and Prabhas fans are very happy about it.

Recently Nag Ashwin interacted with the media and answered a lot of questions. He said that the idea of treating Kashi scenes in a light-hearted manner is deliberate as they did not want the film to be darker than it is already. Also, they wanted to showcase Prabhas' fun side. He even said that Prabhas will have a full-length role in the second part. Talking about the story, he revealed that around 40% of the story is narrated in 'Kalki 2898 AD' and the rest will be shown in the second part.

With character establishment and world-building done in the first part, Nag Ashwin confirmed that the second part will have more content, emotions and action. He agrees to take cinematic liberties and defends his point saying that 'Mayabazaar' is a fictional story set in Mahabharat backdrop and mythological characters. He confirmed that he has no idea of making Mahabharata and also made it clear that Mahesh Babu would not be seen as lord Krishna in the second part.

He talked a lot about the movie and revealed many interesting snippets. With movies like 'Sarfira' and 'Indian 2' arriving soon, we need to see if the movie surpasses the 1000 crore mark and cross 'RRR' records or not.
