Episode 2: Nag Ashwin Reveals Us The 3 Worlds Of 'Kalki 2898 AD'!

The makers of 'Kalki 2898 AD' are doing all they can to promote the film on a national level. Apart from releasing the trailer, promotional song with Diljit, teasers, an animation series and touring the vehicle 'Bujji' all over the country, they organized a pre-release meet with the media in Mumbai. While Nag Ashwin was absent due to post-production works, big names like Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and the producers talked to the press while Rana Daggubati acted as the host.

On the other hand, they have released an episode recently where Nag Ashwin explained the thought behind making 'Kalki 2898 AD' and how it was the sequel to Mahabharata. He said it took five years for them to come up with this product. Now, he has arrived with the second episode where he stresses on the world-building that went into the making of this film. He said they designed Kaashi in a unique way and explained the thought process behind showcasing it in a dry manner.

He narrated that there are going to be three different worlds in the movie. While one is Kaashi where all the resources have dried up and people are living on scraps, the other one is complex where there is every kind of resource available but not everyone can get into it. Nag Ashwin explained that it is kind of inspired from the Trishanku Swarga concept in Indian mythology. There is another world which is Shambala and the people from this place are the ones who constantly fight the Complex. According to our mythology, Shambala is the place where Kalki will be born.

He said that each world will be different from another starting from people's dressing to what they eat and what they use as weapons. He even explained the bounty concept and what Prabhas aka Bhairava does in the film. These episodes are really informative and will lay a perfect basement for the audience to come prepared into the theatres.

Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of Ashwattama while Prabhas will be seen as Bhairava. Deepika Padukone is playing one of the main leads as well. Starring Prabhas in the lead, Nag Ashwin is directing this science-fiction thriller. Keerthy Suresh gave the voiceover for Bujji vehicle. Ashwini Dutt is the producer. Santosh Narayan is the music composer.
