Young and handsome hero Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi have teamed up once again after 'Love Story' for an intense action drama titled 'Thandel'. The first look poster of Naga Chaitanya was released on his birthday and it generated a huge response. The 'Majili' hero's rugged look impressed many and 'Thandel' is going to be the costliest film in his career.
Naga Chaitanya went through a strenuous physical transformation to get into the character of a fisherman. Set in the coastal region of Srikakulam district, Chandoo Mondeti is directing it. The official announcement came long back but the grand launch happened today in the presence of big celebrities. Chaitanya's dad Nagarjuna and uncle Venkatesh were present at the event and wished the team.
The shooting will begin this month and the team is reportedly aiming to hit the screens in the summer season of 2024. As we know, 'Thandel' is produced under 'Geetha Arts' banner by Bunny Vas while Allu Aravind is presenting it. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.
Naga Chaitanya expressed "I've been on this project for the past 1.5 years, enjoying every step of the journey. We collaborated closely, visiting Srikakulam, meeting families, and immersing ourselves in the local slang for the movie. This is the most extensive preproduction work I've done for the first time. The script's strength and potential are commendable. Thanks to Allu Arvind for his producer support and Chandoo Mondeti, more than a friend. Sai Pallavi is an encouraging actress, and with her, I can give my best. Welcome aboard the technical team-DSP for music, cinematographer Shamdat, and the media. We'll see you soon after the shoot."
Director Chandoo Mondeti communicated "I spent 1.5 years on the script, and now I'm ready to give my best. Our hero and heroines are prepared to do their best too."
Sai Pallavi conveyed "We have a clear vision, and we'll give our best."
