At a time when critics are questioning Akkineni Nagarjuna's choice of action films, especially given the recent underwhelming performance of his action-packed ventures like "Wild Dog," "Officer," and "The Ghost", rumours are coming out that the actor wants to test this genre again.

While Nagarjuna's recent action films lacked the mass appeal that defined his earlier blockbuster hits such as "Siva," "Boss," "Mass," and "Don", the absence of commercial elements in his recent ventures has been a topic of concern, leading to doubts about the success of future action projects. Speculations are popping up that Nagarjuna has taken a keen interest in a script presented by Tamil director Naveen, brought to him by producer Gnanavel Raja. While no official decision has been made, the possibility of collaborating on this project seems likely.

It looks like, there is optimism that incorporating commercial elements in action genre, which were present in Nagarjuna's recent hit "Naa Saami Ranga," would help, and the believing in it. Anyway, if this collaboration materializes, it could mark a shift for Nagarjuna back into the action genre.
